Directions

Ingredients marked with an asterisk can be purchased from any supplier. Put on safety glasses and gloves.

Prepare a clean, sterilized double boiler with tap water in the bottom pan and add Deionized or Distilled Water (#1) to the top pan. Begin heating to 175ºF. While heating, premix Organic Glycerin and Xanthan Gum, gently stirring until homogenous. Add to main vessel. Use an immersion blender to disperse the premix.

At 175ºF, add Creamy Coconut Surfactant (#4). Use caution by wearing a mask, as Creamy Coconut Surfactant can be very dusty and the dust should not be breathed in. Continue to hold the temperature and gently stir to avoid aeration, until dissolved. Dissolving #4 may take minutes of slow stirring! Once #4 is dissolved, turn off heat and add Cetearyl Alcohol MB (#5). Gently stir until dissolved.

Once temperature has reached 110ºF during cool down, add Preservative PE (#6). Continue cooling. Fill into desired container.
